how do you deal with disappointment??
I'm feeling this today..just had a phonecall that didn't go the way I thought it would. But I am aware of God's presence and peace in this situation, and the FACT that His was is totally PERFECT.
I'm thankful for what we do have as a couple - our family, our friends, our home, our experiences, our church, our jobs...
I'm really busy at the minute with C/L and loving it! Its great to do something that you really love. So blessed. Out schedules have been crazy busy for the past 3 weeks now, as i started a temporary reception job, but its only for 7 months and its reassuring to have regular income each month... also helps for Christmas which is looming!
Even in disappointment, i'm reminded to look to Jesus - and be so thankful for the blessings, even when things do go according to plan x

content x
Its great to feel content, and I feel so content with everything going on right now. God is gently leading us and we have peace and contentment. We've so much going on in the background right now.. BIG scary chocices to be made, decisions to pray about, plus hectic schedules, yet I know that God is in control, and I've no need to get overwhelmed..
We've got a great bunch of friends, not all in NI, but spread throughout the world, what a blessing! We also have supportive family, who understand us. We've been spending some time with our HK/UK friends Billy and Jeanne Campbellm, from Silk Road Ministries as they are in NI for a couple of weeks. They are such an inspiration to us, and God has really used them to challenge and ignite us! Will share a photo of them, if i can take one before they leave.
I'm not sure if I even want anyone to read this blog - its more of my online journal, as actual writing takes so long - typing is much quicker!!

who knows...
I've so many ideas about where this blog should go.. the direction I mean..
But for now I'm pretty undecided so am settling with a journal of what is going on with the McCords. We've just booked flights BACK to HK and Cambodia for Eater 2012, but just for a couple of weeks.
Our lives have been pretty hectic since September began...work, new job, cranberrylime, speaking about HK/China/Cambodia, and catching up with people we haven't seen for a year!
But we're getting through our huge to-do-lists...
Rich doesn't think now is a good time to start a blog, but I technically "started" our blog over a year ago, now I'm just updating it!
Anyway.. I'll be back soon with more updates
